Welcome to the comprehensive documentation for the Food for Education (F4E) AppSheet Kitchen Operations Management System. This system is designed to streamline and automate kitchen operations, meal planning, and resource management across F4E's school feeding program.

What is the F4E AppSheet System?​

The F4E AppSheet App (Kitchen Ops) is a comprehensive digital solution that manages the entire kitchen operations workflow for Food for Education's school feeding program. It handles everything from meal planning and projection management to consumption tracking and inventory management.

Key Capabilities​

  • Meal Planning: Creation and managing meal plans for different kitchen types
  • Projection Management: Track student, staff, and teacher projection & actual numbers for accurate planning
  • Consumption Tracking: Calculation of planned quantities per school projection in a plan
  • Picking Management: Generate and manage picking lists for kitchen managers to record actual quantity per item.
  • Inventory Management: Track stock levels, stock requisition, stock adjustments and counts
  • School Operations: Manage school projection detail data, BOM configurations, and school program types
  • Cross-Platform Access: Accessible on desktop & mobile for field operations

The system is designed for different user roles:

  • Kitchen Managers: Daily kitchen operations, meal preparation, inventory management
  • Warehouse Associate: Inventory management, stock request review, stock issuance
  • Finance Associate: Stock counts, stock adjustment
  • Admin: System configuration, user management, meal planning, BOM assign per school, kitchen & school update, bots configuration, daily watch (monitoring kitchens)
